Overview
Nova NPD100 particle diluter can meet the requirements of accurately diluting aerosol particles in clean rooms and large particle measurement tasks, and the particle size distribution before and after aerosol dilution remains unchanged; By using aerosol dilution, the same measuring device can be used to measure aerosols with high and low particle concentrations.
The diluter collects a portion of aerosol particles through flow control, keeping the aerosol flow ratio constant. The bypass air enters the mixing chamber through a HEPA filter, and the two airflows are evenly mixed to dilute the original particle concentration. By maintaining a certain intake flow rate, a fixed particle dilution ratio can be formed
Application scenarios
Nova NPD100 particle diluter suitable for concentration testing of high-efficiency filter leak detection, high-efficiency filter efficiency evaluation system, high concentration aerosol measurement, and basic aerosol research.

● Adaptive flow rate: 1-28.3 L/min [customizable]
● Interface matching hose: 8mm inner diameter hose
● Dimensions: 250 * 140 * 180 mm
● Material: Aluminum alloy
● Net weight of the product: 2.5Kg
Usage and operation
(1) When using or in use, please place the device on a stationary (vibration free) workbench.
(2) The product has been calibrated before leaving the factory, with fixed dilution ratios of 1:10, 1:20, and 1:50.
(3) Use the pipeline connection diagram to correctly connect the hose.
● The inlet is connected to the measured gas
● Connect the air outlet to the testing instrument
(4) After confirming that the hose is connected properly, start the instrument (note: please perform self-cleaning and zeroing before using the instrument)
(5) Open the corresponding proportional valve switch and set the desired dilution ratio gear.
There are a total of 3 diluter switches, push to turn off and pull to turn on
● Dilute 10 times: Pull open [1:10], push close [1:20], [1:50]
● Dilute 20 times: Pull open [1:20], push close [1:10], [1:50]
● Dilute 50 times: Pull open [1:50], push close [1:10], [1:20]
● After using the diluter, turn off all switches
(6) The displayed value of the instrument is the value at which the tested gas particles are diluted by a fixed multiple.
Precautions
(1) After receiving the diluter, please carefully read the instructions and keep the instructions and certificate of conformity safe.
(2) When there is dirt on the surface, a dust-free cloth dipped in 75% alcohol can be used to wipe it clean. Do not use other highly corrosive solutions to wipe the surface.
(3) Connect the hose of the diluter, with a single length not exceeding 1.5 meters. The hose should be made of PVC or silicone according to standard regulations, and it is best to have a PTFE layer inside the pipe.
Note: The longer the tube, the greater the load on the instrument air pump and the accumulation of aerosols, resulting in a deviation in dilution ratio.
(4) To ensure the service life of the product, please use it in a clean room to avoid the blockage of the high-precision filter inside due to the harsh environment. Filters are consumables. When the diluted gas flow cannot meet the testing requirements, please contact the manufacturer to purchase and replace the filter.
(5) To ensure the accuracy of the product, it is necessary to regularly return to the factory for calibration, with a calibration cycle of once a year. If significant dilution ratio deviations are found during use, they also need to be returned to the factory for calibration. Calibration requires a stable concentration of aerosols and accompanying instrument products.
Note: The calibration of dilution ratio and the stability of aerosol concentration are closely related to the intake volume of clean air and the sampling volume of the instrument.
